Aprilia RS 457 priced at INR 4.10 Lakhs, bookings open on 15 Dec 2023

Aprilia has launched the new Aprilia RS 457 in the Indian market. The Italian sports bike comes with a price tag of INR 4.10 lakh ex-showroom, Maharashtra. Mr Diego Graffi, Chairman and MD, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd announced the pricing of the new Aprilia RS457 at the India Bike Week 2023, in Goa.

Aprilia RS 457 – Bookings and Deliveries

The brand also also revealed that the bookings for the Aprilia RS 457 begin from 15th December 2023. Enthusiasts can book the Aprilia RS 457 at Aprilia Motoplex dealerships across India for INR 10,000 only. Patrons can also book the motorcycle online from the Aprilia India website. Furthermore, Aprilia confirmed that the RS 457 deliveries are set to begin from around March 2024.

Aprilia RS 457 – Design and Features

The Aprilia RS 457 has been designed and developed at Aprilia’s headquarters in Italy. The same roof also designs and develops April’s high-end Superbikes and MotoGP bikes. Aprilia is also passing on its racing DNA into the RS 457 along with the Italian luxury elements. The motorcycle comes with Full-LED headlamps with integrated turn-signal lamps. The bike also gets a full-colour 5-inch TFT screen and backlit handlebar controls.

Aprilia RS 457 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Aprilia RS 457 is a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. The engine features double overhead camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder. The Aprilia RS 457 also comes with an aluminium alloy frame with the engine block used as a load-bearing element.

The Aprilia RS 457 also gets 41mm front fork with 120mm of travel and a mono shock on the rear with 130mm of travel, both adjustable for preload. The bike also gets 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyres with alloy rims. The bike also gets radial front callipers and axial front brake master cylinder.

Aprilia RS 457 – Performance

Expect the Aprilia RS 457 to produce around 47 PS of power with the twin-cylinder engine. The bike also comes with a full electronic management package and three Ride Modes. The RS 457 also gets a ride-by-wire throttle system and adjustable traction control. With its dry weight of just 159 kgs, Aprilia claims that the RS 457 has the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
