Ampere launches Primus high-speed electric scooter at INR 1,09,900

Greaves Electric Mobility has launched yet another high-speed electric scooter. This is the Ampere Primus. This new product will retail in the Indian market at INR 1,09,900 (ex-showroom). In terms of performance, the new Ampere Primus equips a 4kW PMS motor. A rider can go as high as 77 kmph as the top speed of this electric scooter. This is more than enough for an electric scooter, especially for intra-city commutes. The scooter can do a 0-40 kmph acceleration in under five seconds.

Key Features On Offer For Ampere Primus

The new Primus gets four ride modes. This includes Eco, City, Power, and Reverse. Ampere also claims a true range of over 100km on a full charge in the Power mode. The range further enhances the Eco Mode, thus adding to the rider’s peace of mind. The feature list includes a long list of equipment. The key highlighting ones include Bluetooth connectivity and navigation with a dedicated phone application. Customers can have the scooter in four, dual-tone paint options in a matte finish. These are namely,  Himalayan White, Royal Orange, Havelock Blue, and Buck Black.

Hardware Tech And Equipment On Offer

In terms of hardware equipment, this electric scooter gets telescopic front forks, a rear spring, and drum brakes on both wheels. In terms of design, the scooter gets a tall-set headlight, apron-mounted front turn indicators, a step-up seat, and a single-piece pillion grabrail.
