Coimbatore based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ampere Electric has launched new enhanced variants of the brand’s popular electric scooter range including the Reo, V48, Magnus and Zeal. The new variants focus on improving and enhancing the overall riding experience and comfort through product improvement. The brand has launched five new variants – the Reo Plus launched at INR 42,490 (Lead-acid variant), the Reo Elite launched at INR 42,999 (Lead-acid variant), the V48 Plus launched at INR 36,190, the Magnus 60 (Slow speed) launched at INR 49,999 and the Zeal Ex priced at INR 66,949. All prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru.
The Reo Plus series is now enabled with new features such as USB mobile charging and Ignition Start button. The Elite series has been upgraded with improved load-carrying capacity & enhanced mileage. The Zeal Ex is now upgraded with 10% better mileage and better ride performance. The brand’s entry-level model V48 is now equipped with LED headlights and tubeless tyres for better visibility and convenience in rural markets.
The new variants are now available at all Ampere dealerships across 180 cities and towns in India. Ampere has also expedited a unique VR experience to explore the latest features & facilitate easy buying option for tech-savvy customers providing the safety and convenience of home, especially during the times of the pandemic via a dedicated e-commerce portal. In addition to this, Ampere Electric has also collaborated with OTO Capital and Autovert Technologies a Financial Technology expert that specializes in EV subscriptions, to further provide easy EV acquisitions. Ampere Electric and Autovert will provide with a unique battery subscription plan starting from INR 1990 making Ampere Vehicles even more affordable. The unique subscription plan also offers benefits such as extended warranty of 5 years along with full vehicle insurance, full vehicle service & maintenance for 24 months, attractive upgrade options, discounts on replacement battery etc.
The brand has also announced that it has expanded its network to 250 EV dealerships across the country and sold over 60,000 units of its electric scooters. The brand also estimates that in the last 12 years of journey, it has saved over 100 lakh litres of petrol and reduced about 45000-ton CO2 emissions, which is a significant contribution towards the environment.
