Some interesting news out there for Skoda fans. All SUVs from the brand will now come with a new split headlight design. Skoda Kushaq will complete its anniversary next month, and the work for its facelift has already begun. Thus, the Kushaq facelift could be the first model wherein we see this new headlight design.
Currently, Skoda is working on multiple headlight designs. But the thing which is common is the vertical headlamp setup with dual LEDs, one for low-beam and the other for high-beam. The fog lamps will find their place in the high beam unit. Besides all these, the cars will also have a horizontal LED daytime running light, turn indicator and parking light on the top. The higher-spec Ambition and Style will benefit from this update. Meanwhile, the lower-spec Active trim will get a simpler set-up, albeit based on the same split headlamp concept.
Skoda India’s Recent Resurgence
With the launch of two exciting options, Slavia and Kushaq, Skoda India is flying in terms of sales. The Skoda Slavia was the top-selling sedan for April 2022. Both the products retain Skoda’s core values with improvements in key areas. All these add up to make them both a favourite in their respective segment. The Slavia is all set to revive the dying sedan segment. Meanwhile, the Kushaq has its targets to ride along with the increasing demand for SUVs in the market.
In terms of the customer ownership experience, Skoda has made significant changes. High service cost, which was the main negative point about Skoda, has been fixed with s slew of customer-centric service package schemes. Furthermore, Skoda is also expanding its dealership network rigorously across the country. This is also a great step to ensure maximum engagement with the brand, which will result in improved sales figures. For the future, Skoda is already looking into the sub-compact SUV segment. As per reports, Skoda will have its representative in this segment by early 2025.
