Mahindra & Mahindra, the leader in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) – 2 to 3.5-ton category, has announced the launch of the all-new Bolero MaXX Pik-Up. According to Mahindra, the new brand of futuristic pickups will cater to modern India’s transport and logistic needs.
Pricing for the all-new pickup from Mahindra starts at INR 7,68,000 ex-showroom. However, Mahindra mentioned this is introductory pricing. Hence, expect changes in the pricing in the future. The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up will also be available with a downpayment of INR 25,000 and attractive financing options.
Mahindra offers its latest pickup truck in three variants – CITY 3000, CITY 3000 LX and CITY 3000 VXi. While the CITY 3000 carries an ex-showroom price of INR 7,68,000, the CITY 3000 LX and CITY 3000 VXi cost INR 7,72,000 and INR 7,78,000 ex-showroom, respectively. Furthermore, the Boler MaXX Pik-Up comes in three colour options – Neo Gold, Drizzle Silver and White.
The highlight of the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up truck is the iMAXX telematics solution. It enables new-age business owners to deploy vehicle telematics and onboard vehicle diagnostics to improve business productivity and also reduce operating costs. It comes with over 30 features that are accessible using a mobile app. Mahindra also mentioned the iMAXX connectivity offerings are hosted on Amazon Web Services. The solution helps business owners in gaining insights into vehicle performance and health. Furthermore, it also helps MLO and fleet operators with route planning, navigation, delivery scheduling, vehicle tracking, fuel log, geofencing and more.
The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up also comes with segment-first height-adjustable driver seats and Turn safe lights. The certified D+2 seating with headrest and higher legroom also offers maximum comfort. When navigating through city traffic and narrow lanes, the compact design and 5.5-metre turning radius of the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up also make it an ideal option. For urban transportation needs, it offers a higher payload capacity of 1300 kg, and at 1,700mm, it also offers the widest cargo dimensions in the category.
Powering it is Mahindra’s trusted m2Di engine. The motor makes 65 HP of power and best-in-class 195 Nm of torque. Furthermore, it also offers class-leading mileage of 17.2 kmpl. Mahindra offers a standard warranty of 3-year/1,00,000 km and a service interval of 20,000 km. The company also offers an optional 3-year/90,000 km free preventive maintenance service.
