Mini has launched the new Mini Charged Edition. This is a limited edition version based on the Cooper SE trim. The company is importing only 20 units of the car and has priced the car at INR 55,00,000, ex-showroom.
What’s new in the Mini Charged Edition?
The Mini Charged Edition is the first limited edition of the 3-door version of the Cooper SE. It comes with a Chili Red paint job with a white roof. The outside trim, door handles and logo are finished in Aspen White. The outsides also feature Stripes in Frozen Red paint along with Energetic Yellow highlights on some areas like the bonnet, boot and the sides. The car rides on Mini Electric Power Spoke 17-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the car gets Carbon Black leather upholstery, sports seats, Nappa leather multi-function steering and an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The driver meanwhile gets a 5-inch MID. Mini has configured the car with the Mini Wired Package which adds navigation, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging and Bluetooth connectivity.
Other features on the car include cruise control, Park Distance Control, Rear View Camera and TPMS.
Meanwhile, those who cannot get their hands on this car, might be able to snag a convertible version of the Mini Electric Cooper SE. The car is the first all-electric convertible model from the British carmaker.
Powertrain of the Mini Charged Edition
This electric vehicle gets a single electric motor rated at 181 BHP and 270 Nm. It is supported by a 32.6 kWh battery that gives the car a range of 270 km. Furthermore, the carmaker claims a 0-100 km/h time of 7.3 seconds.
The driver can choose amongst Sport and Green drive modes.
