Adventure motorcycle from TVS spied

Spyshots of a new TVS motorcycle have now emerged on the internet, and from the looks of it, the motorcycle should be a cross between commuters and off-road bikes.

The spyshots clearly indicate that it is a small capacity motorcycle and should probably be based on the TVS Phoenix. It should be powered by a 125cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine producing around 11 BHP of power and 1.1 Kgm of torque.

The bike is seen equipped with a petal disc brake at the front, drum brake at the rear, long travel telescopic front suspension, ‘series spring’ shock absorbers at the rear, larger diameter front rim, spoked wheel rims, box section rear swingarm, exposed chain and the front mudguard mounted just below the headlamp.

Expect this bike to be launched in 2015, along with plenty of other products hitting the streets from the TVS stable. This adventure category motorcycle will fight against the Passion Pro TR from Hero MotoCorp.

TVS is currently at the third position in the Indian two wheeler segment with respect to monthly sales. With new product launches in the near future, TVS plans to strengthen its market share.
