Following the dispatch commenced by Honda for the H’ness CB350, the Japanese brand has announced that it has also begun delivering the all-new Honda H’ness CB350 in the Indian market. Honda globally unveiled the H’ness CB350 in the month of September and the motorcycle is the brand’s debut in the mid-size 350-500cc segment in the Indian market. The Honda H’ness is sold from the brand’s premium motorcycle retail channel the Honda BigWing. The Honda H’ness CB350 has become the third Honda product from the BigWing to be sold with a BS6 compliant engine, the first being the Honda CRF 1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports.
The Honda H’ness CB350 is offered in two variants – DLX and DLX Pro. The DLX option comes with three monotone paints – Red, Black and Green, while the DLX Pro model features Blue + White, Black + Silver and Matte Black + Matte Grey paint options. The DLX version is priced INR 1.85 lakh ex-showroom and the DLX Pro is priced at INR 1.90 lakh ex-showroom.
Powering the Honda H’ness CB350 is a BS6 emissions-compliant 348.36cc, long-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor with fuel injection technology that produces 20.8 Bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed transmission with assist & slipper clutch along with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The long-stroke engine and tweaks to the exhaust produce a distinctive thump on the CB350.
The Honda H’ness CB350 carries the timeless design language of the legendary CB series motorcycles but offers modern-day equipment such as all-LED lighting, 19-inch front and 18-inch rear alloy wheels, Advanced Digital-Analogue Speedometer with Honda Smartphone Voice Control System etc. The Honda H’ness CB350 also comes with powerful disc brakes and dual-channel ABS for safety. Furthermore, Honda also offers a first in segment 6-year warranty package.
The Honda H’ness CB350 will contest against the modern-classic range of motorcycles in the Indian market such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Benelli Imperiale 400 and the Jawa Classic. At the launch of the Honda H’ness CB350, the brand did hint that the story is not over yet, and there could possibly be a higher capacity motorcycle on the similar lines coming to our market.
