Harley-Davidson may not launch ‘Bronx’ Streetfighter in 2021

Written by Nizam Shaikh

A few months ago, Harley-Davidson announced that the brand’s two new motorcycles the Harley-Davidson Bronx and the Harley-Davidson Pan America will be launched in 2021. The launch schedule was slated for 2020, but due to the unforeseen pandemic situation, the brand had to delay the launch program until next year.

While the Harley-Davidson Pan American has been recently confirmed for 2021, a new media report suggests that the brand might entirely scrap the launch of the Harley-Davidson Bronx. The brand has also removed the motorcycle from the official website, indicating that the brand may not be planning to launch the streetfighter anytime soon.

According to the pictures that were released by the brand the Harley-Davidson Bronx was supposed to come with, a rounded headlamp with LED peripheral daytime running lights, flyscreen style headlamp shroud, chiselled fuel tank, step-up seats, straight handlebars, rear-set footpegs, silver accented cylinder heads, side slung 2-into-1 exhaust, fully digital rounded instrumentation console, upside-down front forks, monoshock suspension on the rear, dual disc brakes and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The streetfighter is also supposed to come with a 975cc ‘Harley-Davidson Revolution Max’ liquid-cooled 90-degree V-Twin engine with internal balancing technology. The brand had also revealed that the same Revolution Max series engine will be used on the upcoming Harley Davidson Pan America but with a larger displacement block.

The Harley-Davidson Pan America comes with completely different styling and dynamics positioned as an Adventure Tourer. Sources have also revealed that the brand is likely to focus more on the Adventure segment.

The Harley Pan America features large rectangular headlamps, LED daytime running lights, headlight fairing, tall touring style windscreen, radiator shroud integrated crash bars, muscular fuel tank, step-up seats, upright handlebars with knuckle guards, mid-set footpegs, metal sump guard, silver accented engine, 2-into-1 upswept exhaust, long-travel suspension, spoked rims and dual-sport tyres.
