Honda is planning to launch the limited editions of the popular scooter Activa 5G and the commuter CB Shine 125. Honda plans to boost sales with the limited edition models which are expected to help in clearing the old BSIV stock and make space for the upcoming BSVI compliant two-wheelers.
The Honda Activa in the limited edition avatar is expected to feature a dual-tone paint and graphics specific to the limited edition model. According to a media report, the images show that the body of the scooter is likely to be painted in ‘Pearl Amazing White’ colour and the front centre cover, headlight cowling and pillion grab rail will be in ‘Matte Selene Silver Metallic’ paint. The new graphics will be applied to the front fender, apron sides, and body cowling of the scooter. While the inner fibre cover and seats are likely to be in a contrasting colour. The engine and wheels, both front and rear, are painted in black and the exhaust muffler cover is finished in chrome.
Another limited edition paint theme is likely to be available with ‘Strontium Silver’ paint on the body and black colour applied to the front centre cover, headlamp surrounds, and pillion grab rails with graphics on the front fender and body in black finish.
The limited edition commuter motorcycle CB Shine 125 also receives similar treatment and will be available in two colour options. Black with Imperial Red Metallic and Black with Spear Silver Metallic. The limited edition motorcycle will have new graphic designs on the visor, fuel tank, side cowling, rear cowling and the pillion grab rail will be painted in contrast colour.
