Honda Shine - The Undisputed King As of today, Honda Shine shares a market share of more than 50 per cent in its respective segment. Furthermore, Honda Shine recently achieved the prestigious milestone of 1 Crore customers in India. This also reflects upon the customers’ trust in the brand and ever-growing popularity. Shine was first introduced in the market back in 2006. At that time, the motorcycle came equipped with the unique Optimax technology. 2 years later, the motorcycle was topping the sales chart in the 125cc segment. Moving forward to 2010, 54 months after Shine first’s launch, Shine had its first 10 lakh customers. 2014 was an important year, as Honda Shine grabbed a 33 per cent market share in its segment. In 2015, Honda introduced the CBS(Combi Braking System) tech. Then in 2017, Honda Shine became the first-ever 125cc motorcycle to clinch the 50 lakh unit sales milestone. The 70 lakh unit sales figure came in 2018, and this was also the year in which every 2nd motorcycle sold in the 125cc segment was a Honda CB Shine. Fast forward to January 2022, Honda Shine celebrated its 1 crore customer milestone.
