Gathering this weekend at Bareclona, GP riders and star riders from around the world competed in an adrenaline filled Superprstigio Flat Track Race which had some surprising outcomes.
AMA Flattrack champion Brad ‘The Bullet’ Baker has become the first person to win two Superprestigio titles, by taking victory from double world champion and four-time AMA champion Jared Mees in the third running of the event. Also winning the “Open Class”, Baker made it to the superfinal race beating the last year champion Marc Marquez. While the Spaniard won the Superprestigio class from Moto2 racer Xavi Vierge and World Endurance rider Dani Ribalta.
Baker stood out in the night and completely shoved off the Spaniard in the last lap to ensure the chequered flag victory. While joking Marquez told media that American’s visiting and winning is another year of him learning how to beat them.
