New KTM 390 Adventure series to debut at EICMA 2024

For the first time in 5 years KTM plans to come back to the EICMA in Milan and the brand plans to bring a number of products to the coveted motorcycle show. According to reports, KTM is likely to debut a number of products at the EICMA 2024 which is likely to include the new 390 Adventure series as well as the new KTM 990 and 1390 models. Furthermore, reports also suggest that the Austrian brand is likely to introduce its AMT gearbox at the EICMA this year.

KTM 390 Adventure Series at EICMA Milan

Reports reveal that the new KTM 390 Adventure series is likely to make its debut at the EICMA in Milan. This is likely to be followed by its launch I the Indian market as well. At the EICMA, KTM could launch its 390 Adventure R, the 390 Enduro R as well as the 390 SMC R, the last of which has been spied recently testing in Europe.

Multiple Bikes with the Same Engine

The 390 Adventure series motorcycles are likely to use the same power unit from the 3rd generation KTM 390 Duke that comes with an LC4c 399cc single-cylinder 4-valve engine producing close to 45 Bhp of power and 39 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed. However, the chassis and suspension dynamics on all three motorcycles is likely to be different than each other.

For example, the 390 Adventure R is likely to come with a long travel suspension and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel. The 390 Enduro R is likely to come with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear setup with spoke wheels and off-road biased tyres to help tackle rough terrain with ease. The 390 SMC R could get 17-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels which are likely to be road focussed.

Following its debut at the EICMA 2024, KTM is likely to introduce the 390 Adventure series motorcycle to India as well.
