Honda Cars India has launched an industry-first extended warranty program, offering unlimited kilometers coverage for up to seven years. This initiative is set to redefine customer expectations and enhance the ownership experience for Honda car buyers across the country.
Unprecedented Coverage
The new extended warranty program is available for petrol variants of Honda’s popular models, including the Elevate, City, Amaze, and City Hybrid. This program allows customers to enjoy long-term protection without worrying about mileage limits, a significant departure from traditional warranty offerings that typically cap coverage at a certain number of kilometers.
Eligibility and Flexibility
Customers can opt for the seven-year extended warranty within two years from the date of car purchase. Additionally, existing customers with extended warranties up to the fourth or fifth year can also extend their coverage to seven years or up to 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. This flexibility ensures that a wide range of Honda owners can benefit from the new program.
Transferable Benefits
One of the standout features of this extended warranty is its transferability. If a customer decides to sell their car, the extended warranty can be transferred to the new owner. This not only adds value to the vehicle at the time of resale but also provides peace of mind to the new owner, knowing that they are covered under Honda’s comprehensive warranty program.

Under the unlimited kilometers coverage, customers are protected beyond the standard warranty period. The extended warranty covers the repair or replacement of parts that prove defective as per the warranty terms and conditions, with no charges for both parts and labor.
