BMW Motorrad India has launched the new BMW F 900 GS in the Indian market at the starting price of INR 13.75 lakh ex-showroom. In addition to this, the brand has also launched the F 900 GS Adventure comes with a price tag of INR 14.75 lakh ex-showroom. Both the BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure will be available in India as Completely Built-up Units (CBU) and BMW Motorrad revealed that the deliveries are set to commence from October 2024.
Colour Options
The brand reveals that the BMW F 900 GS will be available in two colour options – The Style Passion variant featuring the São Paulo Yellow and the GS Trophy variant available in Lightwhite / Racing Blue metallic colour. Also, the all-new BMW F 900 GS Adventure is available in two colour themes – Black Storm Metallic and White Aluminium Matte. The São Paulo Yellow solid paint features a black-coating on the engine, wheels and forks.
Also, the Style Passion features a red rear frame along with radiator trims, fuel tank side panels and slider tube cover in vehicle colour with black/red tapes. The “GS Trophy” version comes with Lightwhite solid paint/Racing blue metallic theme and gets hand protectors with aluminium bracket, an aluminium engine guard, black fork tubes and a black seat with red contrast elements. Optionally, the F 900 GS is also available with a tinted windshield, the optional gold wheel rims and the white rear frame. The F 900 GS Adventure gets Blackstorm metallic new radiator trims with GS logo in white aluminium and black engine, fixed fork tubes, and wheel rims. The motorcycle also features a black-grey seat.
Powertrain
Powering the BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure is an in-line twin-cylinder engine that produces 105 Hp of power and 93 Nm of torque. The 895cc water-cooled, engine features 4 cam-operated valves/cylinder, 2 overhead camshafts and a dry-sump lubrication system. The engine is capable of propelling the motorcycle to a top speed of 200 kmph.
