Piaggio introduces the reimagined Vespa 946 Dragon and matching exclusive Varsity jacket. The brand has revealed that the Vespa 946 Dragon will only be available in a limited run of 1888 units. The limited-edition Vespa 946 Dragon features a vibrant emerald green dragon motif laid on a golden hue for the exclusive Dragon collector’s edition. In addition to this, Vespa is dedicating the Vespa 946 Dragon edition to the Lunar New Year celebration event in Hong Kong on 24th January. The Vespa 946 Dragon bring together two cultures through innovation and sophistication.
Vespa 946 Dragon – Design and Features
The Vespa 946 Dragon comes with a golden background which enhances the green dragon motif. The motif snakes around the scooter from the front fascia to the tail encompassing its side panels as well. The Vespa 946 design stays standard incorporating a three slotted nose and rounded LED headlamps. The scooter also comes with vertical indicators and a floating handlebar design.
The Vespa 946 features an aerodynamic nacelle housing the headlamp and instruments cluster. The Vespa 946 Dragon also comes with a suspended seat design and a luggage rack in the back. The 946 also gets three slots on the side panel with a tear drop design and vents for the engine as well. The Vespa 946 Dragon is hand-crafted in Italy using exquisite materials and uses cutting-edge technology.
Vespa 946 Dragon – Varsity Jacket
With the Vespa 946 Dragon also comes a Varsity Jacket made with high-end materials. The exclusive collection uses ribbed wool and nappa leather-sleeves. The exclusive jacket also comes with a dragon motif in emerald green. In addition to this the jacket also comes with prints and embroideries on the left pocket and back panel. The exclusive Varsity jacket also features Vespa’s iconic V monogram accompanied by an ancient Chinese proverb on the front pocket. The jacket and the scooter compliment each other and pay homage to the Lunar New Year.
