Here’s the 2024 Suzuki Swift which will arrive soon in India

Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan has introduced the new 2024 Swift in the Japanese market. The car features the brand’s “Energetic & Light” design language offering smart and compact attributes. For Japan the brand is also introducing two new colours – ‘Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic’ and ‘Cool Yellow Metallic’. In addition to this, the new Swift also comes with a newly developed Z12E 1.2-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine. The new Swift also travels swifter through the air as the car is now offers approximately 4.6% less air resistance compared to the previous model.

2024 Suzuki Swift – Design and Features

The 2024 Suzuki Swift comes with a rounder shape however carries over the same overall silhouette. The new Swift however gets new updates to the headlamps, taillamp and new bumpers. The front grille accents and fog lamp housing are also new for 2024. The car is also more aerodynamic and claims to be 4.6% more efficient thanks to the back door side spoilers, a new front strake, front bumper and wheel shape.

On the inside, the new Swift comes with new styling that connects the instrument panel and door trim. This brings out the unity between the driver and the car. The Swift also features a large infotainment system in the centre of the dashboard and rounded dials for instruments with a digital MID.

2024 Suzuki Swift – Safety

Suzuki has increased the use of high-tensile steel plates and structural adhesives in the body making the Swift safer than before. The new Swift also comes with ‘Dual Sensor Brake Support II’ which incorporates a millimeter-wave radar and a monocular camera.

Thanks to this, the Swift now gets features such as Adaptive Cruise Control with all-speed following function and stop hold function. The car also gets brake hold function, electronic parking brakes, Lane Keep Assist, and Adaptive High Beam System. For the first time Suzuki is also introducing the Driver Monitoring System. This system uses a driver facing camera and recognizes the driver’s face and alerts them of drowsiness or inattention.
