The font of the new Mahindra XUV300 boasts a new face and a new rear design. The new design takes inspiration from the upcoming BE vehicles from Mahindra. The front grille and bumper are completely redesigned and flanked by C-shaped LED DRLs. The C-shaped design is carried to the rear as well as to the connected taillights. The rear bumper has also been redesigned along with the boot lid. The side profile looks more or less the same with the same wheel arches and alloy design. However, the final version might get new alloys.

The new Mahindra XUV300 gets a much-needed overhaul in terms of the infotainment system. It is now equipped with a 10.25-inch screen replacing the old 7-inch display. The central console also looks to have been updated. The new SUV also might get a panoramic sunroof which would be a first in the sub-4 meter segment. The test mule was spotted with a single-pane sunroof. The upholstery seems to be unchanged. It is not clear if the new car will get ADAS features or 360-view cameras.
Powertrain
We do not expect to see any changes in the powertrain of the facelifted XUV300. It will get the same 1.2L turbo MPI engine that produces 110 PS and 200 Nm torque. For the enthusiasts, there’s the 1.2L T-GDi which produces 130 PS and 230 Nm torque. The ones wanting a Diesel will get the 1.5L turbo diesel that makes 117 PS and 300 Nm torque. Consumers can pick either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AutoShift on all power trains. There are also reports that the new XUV300 can come with an updated torque converter transmission
