Citroen has started bookings for the C3 Aircross. The SUV is priced from INR 9.99 lakh onwards. Interested customers will be able to place a booking by paying INR 25,000 as a token amount.
C3 Aircross : Exterior Details
In terms of dimensions, the C3 Aircross measures 4,323 mm in long, 1,796 mm wide and 1,669 mm in high. The wheelbase measures 2,671 mm. Overall, the C3 Aircross looks like a larger version of the C3.
Following the usual company design, the SUV comes with a Citroen logo upfront. There are Y-shaped DRLs along with leadlamps sitting below them. The bumper houses air vents with circular fog lamps beside them.
On the sides, there are round wheel arches with cladding all around. The extra length is added towards the rear of the vehicle as compared to the C3. The 3rd row glass is on the smaller end of things.
Interiors of the Citroen C3 Aircross
The French carmaker is offering a choice of two seating configurations. These are not just extra seats, but significant revisions to the rear floor pan is done.There is a standard five-seat layout along with a three-row layout that can carry seven passengers. Citroen claims that the 5-seat C3 Aircross offers a 444-litre boot while the 7-seater variant gets 511 litres with the third row fully removed.
Other features on the inside include a touch screen infotainment, and a digital instrument cluster. Uniquely, the 7 seater variant ets roof mounted blower to aid in better airflow for the rear occupants.
Citroen C3 Aircross : Powertrain
The C3 Aircross uses the Citroen’s CMP modular platform This is shared with the C3, but the Aircross is much larger in length and has a longer wheelbase too.
The C3 Aircross comes with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. This motor makes 110 HP and 190 Nm of torque. The C3 Aircross will go on sale with a six-speed manual initially with an automatic expected to arrive soon. The company is claiming a fuel economy of 18.5 km/l for the SUV.
