Honda Elevate SUV world premiere in India on June 06, 2023

Written by Parichay Malvankar

Honda has officially teased the top section of their upcoming Elevate SUV. Honda has also revealed that the new Elevate SUV will make a world premiere in India on June 06, 2023. This is the brands first proper attempt to fight it out in the mid-size-SUV segment with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, etc.

Honda’s Elevate will measure more than 4-metres in length, so expect a more spacious cabin than the very practical and surprisingly roomy sub-4-metre WR-V.

Honda Elevate Teaser:

In our first proper glimpse of the Honda Elevate SUV, we can see half of the top section of this all-new product. One can notice features such as blacked out B-pillar, shark fin antenna, normal sized electric sunroof, no dual-tone paint scheme, body coloured ORVMs and roof rails. The wheel arches are flared and the is a prominent crease line on the bonnet and also on the tail gate, which wraps around the fenders. The teaser also reveals a connected tail lamp design, but we don’t know if there would be any horizontal end-to-end illumination like the Hyundai Venue yet.

Honda Elevate Features:

Considering the segment standard, we expect the Honda Elevate to come with features such as leather seat upholstery, dual tone interior theme, touchscreen infotainment with connected tech, speedo console with a coloured MID, arm rests at the front and back, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charging, electrochromic rear view mirrors and more. On the outside, expect full LED lighting, diamond cut dual tone alloy wheels, generous body cladding for an SUV appearance, roof mounted spoiler, chrome accents all around, etc.

Higher priced variants of the Elevate could be offered with ADAS features.

Honda Elevate Engine:

Honda will most likely carry the same engines from the Honda City, in the Elevate SUV. So expect a 1.5L naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol motor which is a 4-cylinder block matched to either a manual or a CVT gearbox. We also expect the Elevate to arrive in a strong hybrid avatar so it can rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
