VIDA, the newest addition to the Indian EV segment, has commenced reservations for its first electric vehicle. Thus one can book the VIDA V1, from today, October 10, 2022. Hero MotoCorp, the parent company of Vida, mentioned, one can reserve the scooter at a fully refundable amount of INR. 2499. Interested one can visit VIDA’s website to avail of this booking service. Noteworthy to mention, as of now only customers residing in Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru can only book.
Hero further confirmed that they will make the scooter available to customers in a phased manner. In the initial lot, the company started with Delhi, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. For these, the deliveries will commence in the second week of December 2022. VIDA V1 is available in two variants. V1 Plus retails at INR 1,45,000 and V1 Pro is available at a starting price of INR 1,59,000.

Hero claims a 0 to 40 kmph run for The VIDA V1 in under 3.2 seconds. And with a claimed range of 163 km and a top speed of 80 km/h, V1 is the perfect city commuter. The VIDA V1 also comes loaded with a host of features. This includes, Cruise Control, Boost Mode, Two-way throttle, Keyless access, an Over-the-air enabled 7” TFT Touch-Screen and more. The company also added a slew of first-of-its-kind customer propositions and services. The key ones include Green EMI, which is an efficient and seamless financing platform. This will offer an easy paper-less journey and also best-in-class interest rates at 1.5-2 percent lesser than the prevailing financial options in the market.
There’s also a Buy-Back scheme that provides comfort and confidence to all first-time EV buyers. This comes with an assurance of vehicle buy-back at 70 percent of purchase value between the 16th to 18th months of vehicle ownership. VIDA V1 is also offering customers a test ride for up to three days. This will allow the customers to have peace of mind before purchasing the vehicle.
