Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of a new platform for motorcycling enthusiasts across the country. Named Xclan, this is the first official Hero Xpulse owners club. As a part of this, the club will provide a stage for owners of the Xpulse motorcycles to engage with each other. Motorcycling clubs like these also help to develop a sense of belonging and oneness amongst the members. The club will be initially made available in five cities across the country. This includes Dehradun, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Cochin and Mumbai. Hero MotoCorp has confirmed plans to expand to additional cities by the latter half of 2022.
Benefits Of A Xclan Member
With this membership comes a host of added services and benefits. Members will get gift hampers like an onboarding kit, invitations to Chapter Rides and rally events across India. It will also include a complimentary Hero Goodlife Platinum Membership. The key benefit of this club is the network of passionate riders. Hero MotoCorp has set up an annual price of INR 2,000 per rider as the membership cost of this club.
Xclan engagements and rides will commence from July 2022 onwards. There will be three categories – Sunrise Rides, Overnight Rides and Expedition rides. As we advance, Hero MotoCorp also plans to expand the XCLAN platform to tier II-III cities. This will offer more riders to join the club, thus adding more spark and glamour to the club. Hero MotoCorp posted a total sales of 4.87 units for May 2022. This figure includes both motorcycle and scooter sales. The demand is now picking up pace as the world moves towards normalcy.
We are still waiting to experience Vida’s first product in the EV segment. Vida is MotoCorp’s sub-brand specifically to cater to the electric mobility segment. It was confirmed by Vida initially that we will see the scooter in March 2022. It’s June, and we are still waiting. Recent reports claim the electric scooter will most likely debut around this festive season.
