Assembly will take place at Benelli’s plant. Bookings for the new retro-classic SIXTIES 300i are also now open. Interested customers can pay INR 10,000 to book it from the official company website. Deliveries will begin in June. However, the test rides will be available from the 26th of May.
2022 Keeway SIXTIES 300i Retro-Classic Scooter – Highlights
The Keeway SIXTIES 300i is a retro-classic scooter which sports an unmistakable 60’s inspired design. According to the company, it is a homage to the decade of flared pants, rock music, splashes of colour and distinct individualistic style. Keeway says the SIXTIES 300i encourages the rider to break free from the ordinary. In addition to this, it also makes a bold fashion statement while you ride.
Underneath the old-school styling, it uses a thoroughly modern 278cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The engine produces a peak power of 18.7 HP at 6500 rpm and 22Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. Keeway says this also makes the retro-scooter an agile and feisty commuter. The retro-classic scooter rides on 12-inch wheels with 120-section tyres. Additionally, it gets disc brakes at the front and back and also dual-channel ABS.
Although the looks take you back in time, the scooter features the latest in creature comforts, such as a comfortable split-seat. The front features a retro-futuristic grille and a full-LED headlight. The rear uses unique dual LED brake lights and signal lights. The scooter also features a multi-function ignition switch which incorporates buttons for an electric starter, under-seat storage and steering lock. The SIXTIES 300i will also be available in three colours – Matte Light Blue, Matte White and Matte Grey.
