2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 Vs. Kia Carens – Engine Specification

Powering the XL6 is the next-generation 1.5-litre 4-cylinder K-Series engine. The new naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine with progressive Smart Hybrid technology comes with 102 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of torque. The brand offers the new XL6 with a 5-speed manual and an all-new 6-speed torque converter automatic. The new MPV also comes with steering-mounted paddle shifters. Maruti Suzuki claims that the XL6 returns a fuel efficiency of 20.97 kmpl for the manual and 20.27 kmpl for the automatic gearbox.

On the other hand, the Kia Carens come with a 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine that makes 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque. A 1.4-litre Smartstream turbo-petrol engine that produces 140 PS of power and 242 Nm of torque. For diesel aficionados, the MPV also comes with a 1.5-litre CRDi VGT turbocharged diesel engine that produces 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque.
