Electric mobility company Crayon Motors has announced the launch of a new electric scooter Envy in the Indian market. The new low-speed, premium electric scooter – Envy will strengthen the manufacturer’s e-mobility solutions product portfolio. Also, Envy is the brand’s second low-speed electric scooter and boasts of being the answer to the premium budget needs of today’s India. However, the electric scooter is packed with the latest technological features at an affordable price tag.
Crayon Motors Envy – Price, Colours and Warranty
Crayon has announced that the Envy electric scooter is available with a price tag of just INR 64,000 ex-showroom. The electric scooter will be available in four colour options – White, Black, Blue, and Silver. The electric scooter comes with a 24-month warranty on the motor and controller, offering two years of peace of mind to its customers. Furthermore, the brand also announced that the Envy electric scooter would be available at over 100+ retail locations at a pan India level.
Crayon Motors Envy – Features and Powertrain
Powering the Crayon Envy is a high-efficiency 250-Watt BLDC motor. The motor is capable of propelling the e-scooter to a top speed of 25kmph and does not require a driver’s license or registration. The brand reveals that the Envy electric scooter comes in different variants with a range of up to 160 km per charge. The brand claims that the Envy electric scooter gets an efficiency of up to 14 p/km. The electric scooter is also available with features such as geo-tagging, digital speedometer, central locking and mobile charging. The Envy also comes with the unique reverse assist option.
Crayon Motors – Manufacturing In India
Crayon Motors has revealed that the brand’s electric scooters are designed and manufactured at the Ghaziabad manufacturing unit aligning the company with the Government’s Make in India policy. The brand has built a dedicated 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad, UP. This production facility has a capacity to produce 20,000 electric scooters per year. The company also revealed that it aims to grow its manufacturing capacity to over 1,000,000 units. Crayon will not only be catering to the Indian market but also export its products to the European markets in the near future.
