The Japanese Motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has introduced a new colour scheme on its updated 2022 Ninja ZX-10R. Kawasaki offers the new Metallic Matte Graphene steel Gray colour with shades of Metallic Diablo Black on the bodywork. The colour scheme includes a gloss black headlight fairing, fuel tank, and tail section. The update also includes red pinstripes and bold ’10R’ graphics on either side of the bike. The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R will soon be available for the International markets with the expected launch for India in 2022.

Priced at INR 15.14 lakh (ex-showroom), Kawasaki offers the Ninja ZX-10R with two colour options. The Lime Green colour scheme includes a mix of black on the bodywork and ‘Ninja ZX-10R’ badging on both sides. The Flat Ebony Type 2 colour scheme involves a matte black finish, lime green vinyl, and ‘Ninja-10R’ badging on both sides.
2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R: Design Highlights
The Ninja ZX-10R sports an aerodynamic race-inspired front cowl complemented by LED headlamps and a new ram-air intake. The front fascia includes new integrated winglets and Kawasaki’s river mark to commemorate its achievement in the Superbike World Championship. Indian versions of the bike include a single seat for the pillion and new LED taillamps, signal lamps, and tail cowl. Another notable inclusion for the Ninja ZX-10R is the titanium alloy-based exhaust headers.
2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R: Technical Specifications
Powering the Ninja ZX-10R is a BS6 compliant 998cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, inline-four engine that’s paired to a 6-speed transmission. The motor produces 213 PS of power and 114.9 Nm of torque, allowing the bike to reach 300 kph. The power figures allow the bike to go from 0-100 kph in just 3 seconds. Kawasaki has implemented an Aluminium Twin-spar Frame and Swingarm on the bike for increased cornering performance and handling.
The bike offers updated handlebars and footpegs for a more aggressive driving position, while the updated seat design reduces drag. The bike sports a new suspension setup for increased comfort and traction, along with a brand new oil cooler. Showa’s new 43mm inverted front forks on the bike enable 120mm of travel, whereas horizontal back-link rear shocks enable 115mm of travel. Kawasaki offers the bike with dual 330mm Brembo brake discs on the front and a 220mm single rear discs for maximum stopping power.
2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R: Features
The Ninja ZX-10R sports integrated riding modes- Sport, Road, and Rain allowing riders to configure the bike based on the situation. Kawasaki also offers a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch TFT screen which provides rider information and the ability to make calls. Other notable features include engine brake control, Ohlins electronic steering dampers, launch control, and cruise control.
