The recently launched Yamaha Aerox 155 has received a World MotoGP 60th Anniversary Edition for the Indonesian market. Released alongside the special editions for the R1, R7, and the R3, the Aerox 155 special edition celebrates Yamaha’s 60 years of GP racing. The scooter features a special new livery, white paint job, red front fender, and Speed Block patterns on the side panels. Finishing the exterior looks are the yellow-coloured front cowl and new bronze-finished rims. Despite its attractive styling, the new Aerox 155 World MotoGP 60th Anniversary Edition is unlikely to be launched in India.

Priced at INR 1,29,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), Yamaha offers the new Aerox 155 with two colour options – Racing Blue and Vermillion Grey. The brand includes a Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP limited edition of the Aerox 155, priced at INR 1,30,500 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Yamaha Aerox 155- Exterior Design Highlights
Thanks to its “Heart-Shaking Speedster” design, ‘X’ Centre Motif, and large proportions, the scooter sports an athletic look. The Aerox 155 features sporty yet comfortable ergonomics due to its large comfortable seats, plush handlebars, and sporty footboards for the rider. The 145mm high ground clearance enables the Aerox 155 to easily tackle bad roads and speed bumps.
Yamaha Aerox 155- Engine and Powertrain Highlights
The Aerox 155 sports a single-cylinder liquid-cooled 155cc four-stroke engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology and an Integrated Starter Generator. This enables the engine to produce 15 PS of power and 13.9 Nm of torque. The engine’s VVA technology allows the scooter to prioritize efficiency in a specific RPM range and maximize performance when needed. The Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) enables the scooter to perform silent and seamless starts in stop-and-go traffic conditions. The VVA and ISG technology paired with a CVT automatic transmission allows the scooter to reduce fuel consumption and improve efficiency.

Yamaha offers the Aerox 155 with 24.5-litres of under-seat storage, accommodating an XL size helmet with ease. One of the scooter’s key notable features is a full LCD 5.8-inch instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Other features found on the Aerox 155 include USB charging, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED taillamps. An external fuel filler cap for easier re-fuelling is another noteworthy addition.
