Ducati, the Italian luxury motorcycle maker, has revealed its plans for the Indian market in 2024. The company will launch 8 new bikes, including some of its most anticipated models, and open at least 2 new showrooms in the country.
The new bikes, which were showcased at the Ducati World Premiere 2024, are:
- Multistrada V4 RS: A high-performance adventure bike with a 170 hp V4 engine, adaptive cruise control, and radar technology.
- DesertX Rally: A rally-inspired bike with a 937 cc twin-cylinder engine, long-travel suspension, and a retro design.
- Panigale V4 Racing Replica 2023: A limited-edition replica of the bike that won the 2023 MotoGP championship, with a 214 hp V4 engine, carbon fiber fairing, and racing livery.
- Diavel for Bentley: A collaboration between Ducati and Bentley, featuring a 162 hp V4 engine, a luxurious leather seat, and a unique paint scheme.
- Hypermotard 698 Mono: A lightweight and agile bike with a 698 cc single-cylinder engine, a trellis frame, and a sporty riding position.
- Monster 30° Anniversario: A special edition of the iconic naked bike, celebrating its 30th anniversary, with a 937 cc twin-cylinder engine, a TFT display, and a commemorative logo.
- Panigale V4 SP2 30° Anniversario 916: A tribute to the legendary 916, which dominated the World Superbike championship in the 1990s, with a 214 hp V4 engine, a single-sided swingarm, and a tricolore livery.
- Streetfighter V4S 2023: An updated version of the aggressive naked bike, with a 208 hp V4 engine, a biplane wing design, and a new electronic suspension system.
We will witness the launch of the exclusive Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini in the first quarter of 2024. This will be followed by the launch of DesertX Rally, Hypermotard 698 Mono, and the new Streetfighter V4 range in Q2. Q4 will see the Multistrada V4 RS and the Diavel for Bentley, which will come to India in limited numbers.
Ducati India currently has 10 dealerships across the country, and is looking to add at least 2 more in 2024. The company claims to have the largest product portfolio for any big bike manufacturer in India, ranging from 803 cc to 1262 cc. The prices and availability of the new bikes will be announced soon.
