Citroen celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day by delivering 75 units of new Citroen C3 cars to customers. This happened in partnership with Paris Motocorpin in Delhi. The mega customer delivery event held at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, saw massive participation. Since the launch of the new Citroen C3 on July 20th, the hatchback has received an overwhelming response from the market. Currently, it is available at a special introductory price of INR 5,70,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
As a part of the New Citroen C3’s Warranty Programme, customers get services like a vehicle warranty for 2 years / 40,000 km (whichever is earlier) as standard. Furthermore, there is a warranty on spare parts and accessories for 12 Months / 10,000 km (whichever is earlier), and 24×7 Roadside Assistance adds to the peace of mind. Extended warranty packages and maintenance packages are also available for the customers to choose from. Citroen confirmed that customers would be able to test-drive the new C3 by visiting a La Maison Citroen phygital showroom. Additionally, customers can also book/buy the car online via Citroen India’s official website.
With the launch of the C3 hatchback, Citroen has big plans for the Indian market. Now we have more good news from the French stable. As per spy shots, Citroen is working to enter the CNG segment with the C3. The camouflaged C3 in the photo was seen with a testing kit mounted at the back of the hatchback, which we believe is a CNG emissions testing kit. With the demand for non-ICE options increasing, CNGs are now getting very popular. We did see a host of new CNG launches from Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Thus, this testifies to the demand in the segment, and we expect the figure to increase from here.
