5th anniversary-edition Jeep Compass launched in India at INR 24.44 lakh

Jeep launched the Compass SUV in India in 2017 and is now celebrating its 5th anniversary by launching a new special-edition model of the SUV. The new special edition of Jeep’s most popular SUV gets a handful of new and exclusive features to make it stand out from the regular Compass models.

The Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary edition prices start at INR 24.44 lakh ex-showroom. Bookings for the new 5th Anniversary edition of the Compass are now open at all Jeep dealerships as well as on the Jeep India website.

Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition – What’s New?

The 5th Anniversary edition gets a host of exclusive and new features to differentiate it from the other Compass variants. At the front, it gets a body colour/satin granite crystal lower front fascia and a gloss black grille with neutral grey rings. On the sides, it gets 18-inch alloys in a Granite Crystal finish, neutral grey ORVMs, accent colour roof rails and body-coloured fender flares. It also gets black daylight opening mouldings, body-coloured sill mouldings and body-coloured cladding. Additionally, there is also a 5th Anniversary commemorative badge.

On the inside, it gets leather seats with Light Tungsten accent stitching. Meanwhile, the headliner is now black, and there are also Piano Black and Anodized Gun Metal interior accents. As far as features go, the 5th Anniversary Edition also gets an auto-dimming IRVM.  

Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition – Variants, Pricing & Colour Options

Jeep will offer the 5th Anniversary Edition in petrol as well as diesel variants. In total, there will be three options to choose from. The 1.4-litre Multiair petrol engine will only be available with the 7-speed DDCT transmission. On the other hand, the 2.0-litre Multijet diesel will be available with either the 6-speed manual and 4×2 or the 9-speed automatic. The 4×4 variant also gets Jeep’s Selec-Terrain system.

Prices start at INR 24.44 lakh for the diesel manual 4×2. The petrol engine with the DDCT transmission gets a sticker price of INR 25.24 lakh. Meanwhile, the diesel 4×4 with the 9-speed automatic costs INR 28.24 lakh. (Prices mentioned are ex-showroom)

Jeep offers the 5th Anniversary Edition in a total of 7 colour options. This includes 1 monotone and 6 dual-tone colours. The only monotone colour option is Brilliant Black. The dual-tone colour options are – Pearl White/Black Roof, Techno Metallic Green/Black Roof, Minimal Grey/Black Roof, Exotica Red/Black Roof, Magnesio Grey/Black Roof and Galaxy Blue/Black Roof.
