5,834 Toyota Corolla Altis diesel models recalled

Toyota has issued a recall on the now discontinued, Corolla Altis. 5,834 units of the diesel variant have been included in this recall.

The recall has been issued to replace certain components which are leading engine oil to enter the air intake system. Toyota will contact all these customers individually and fix an appointment. All the cars will be repaired at authorised Toyota dealerships free of cost.

The company however claims that there have been no complaints from customers regarding this issue yet and the company has proactively recalled these cars.
