5 new Royal Enfield motorcycles coming soon to India

Written by News Team

Royal Enfield, the largest mid-size motorcycle maker in the world, is set to launch five new models in the Indian market. This move is seen as a response to rising global competition and is being touted as the biggest product onslaught in the company’s history.

The company will be launching five all-new models across four different displacement categories. These include the Goan Classic 350, Scram 440, Guerilla 450, Interceptor Bear 650, and Classic 650. In addition to these, there will be a major update given to the Classic 350 as well as its variants – the Bullet, Hunter, and Meteor.

The Goan Classic 350

The Goan Classic 350 will be based on the current production Classic 350. However, it will be stripped down to a bobber-styled motorcycle. It is expected to get white-walled tyres and will be produced in limited numbers. It will have the same engine and chassis as the Classic 350.

Royal Enfield Scram 440

The Scram 440 will revive the 411-cc engine from the old Himalayan. It will have the same engine block but a different state of tune. It will borrow its underpinnings from the Scram 411. Since it will have a smaller engine, it will priced lower than the Himalayan 452.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450

The Guerilla 450 is going to be a neo-retro roadster. It will come equipped with the same engine as the Himalayan 452. Consider this as a larger sibling to the Hunter 350. It will have a minimalistic design and will be affordable than the Himalayan 452.

Interceptor Bear 650

The Interceptor Bear 650 is a scrambler variant based on the Interceptor platform. It will have off-road capabilities, unlike the three models that are sold currently. The Bear will get longer suspension travel, spoked wheels and will have only one exhaust. The engine will be the same 650-twin as on the Interceptor, Conti GT and the Shotgun.

Classic 650

This has been a long-time coming. The Classic 650 is nothing but the Classic 350 with the 650-twin engine. It will share its underpinnings with the Interceptor, Conti GT and the Shotgun. However, the aesthetics will be more like the Classic 350.

The launch of these new products will start from July’24. The launches will be spaced out till the Mar’25.
