Benelli in India has announced a price cut of INR 51,000 on their naked TNT 300 model and INR 60,000 on their Benelli 302R model. The price cut is due to lowered manufacturing cost and the brand wishes to extend the benefits to its customers.
The Benelli TNT 300 which is a naked bike is offered with 300cc, inline-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, DOHC engine which produces 38.26 BHP of power @ 11,500 RPM and 26.5 Nm of torque @ 10,000 RPM coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is wrapped around a steel trellis chassis which is equipped with inverted front forks and an adjustable off-set mono suspension. The brakes on the TNT 300 are dual hydraulic discs on the front and a single disc setup on the rear wheel equipped with a dual-channel ABS. The rims are 17-inch aluminium alloys and come with 160/60 rear and 120/70 front tyres. The bike measures at 2130mm in length, 800mm in width and 1120 mm in height and has a seat height of 795mm. The Benelli TNT 300 comes with a 1410mm wheelbase and 155mm ground clearance. The TNT 300 weighs 196 kg (kerb) and has a 16-litre capacity fuel tank.
The Benelli TNT 300 features LED taillights and LED turn signal indicators. The bike has a digital-analog instruments display and a two into one exhaust system with dual catalytic converters. On the front of the bike is a vertically stacked headlight and a small flyscreen.
The fully faired Benelli 302R is powered by the same 300cc engine as mentioned above. The chassis is a trellis frame and comes with 41mm inverted forks and a rear swing arm with a central shock absorber. The brakes are a twin floating 260mm hydraulic discs with 4-piston calipers on the front and a 240mm single disc on the rear equipped with a dual-channel ABS. The wheels are 17-inch alloys with 150/60 and 110/70 tyres. The Benelli 302R measures 2150mm in length, 745mm in width and 1115mm in height. The 302R has a wheel base of 1410mm and a seat height of 785mm with a ground clearance of 165mm. The 302R weighs 198 kg (kerb) and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.
The Benelli 302R features a race styled dual headlamps a full faired design with body graphics, a twin-pipe finisher exhaust, LED taillights, a tall windscreen visor, clip-on handle bars and a step-up seat, etc.
The new pricing for the Benelli TNT 300 is INR 2.99 lakh and the Benelli 302R is INR 3.10 lakh ex-showroom.
