3,00,000th Tata Nexon rolls out, new variants & new features added

Indian automotive giant Tata Motors celebrated the rollout of its 3,00,000th Nexon from its Ranjangaon facility, Pune. June 2021 marked the rollout of the 2,00,000th Nexon, after which Tata Motors sold 1,00,000 units. Tata Motors’ Nexon was recently featured in the top 5 list of highest-selling vehicles in India, along with being the safest. It is the country’s first sub-compact SUV to score a 5-star crash safety rating at Global NCAP.

2022 Tata Nexon: Variants & Pricing 

To celebrate this milestone, the automaker has announced 4 new variants of the Nexon under its ‘New Forever’ brand vision. The 4 new variants of the Nexon in top-spec trims include XZ+ (P), XZA+ (P), XZ+ (HS), and XZA+ (HS). Available in both petrol and diesel powertrains, Tata Motors will also offer a new colour option called Royale Blue. The automaker will offer these variants on the #Dark trim of the Nexon and has commenced bookings across its dealerships.

In terms of pricing, the XZ+ (P) variant of the Nexon will cost INR 11,58,900 (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the XZA+ (P) and XZ+ (HS) will cost INR 12,23,900 (ex-showroom) and INR 10,86,800 (ex-showroom), respectively. Finally, the XZA+ (HS) variant of the new Nexon will cost INR 11,51,800 (ex-showroom) across the country. With these new variants, Tata Motors has successfully expanded Nexon’s portfolio and its customer base to bolster its growth.

2022 Tata Nexon: Exclusive new features & achievements 

Tata Motors also stated that the new variants of the Nexon will sport exclusive new features, enhancing convenience for occupants. The XZ+ (P)/XZA+ (P) variants sport Premium Benecke Leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, air purifier, and an auto-dimming IRVM. Meanwhile, the new XZ+ (HS)/XZA+ (HS) will also get an in-built air purifier to improve the AQI for occupants. The automaker also confirmed that it would offer these new features on the #Dark trim of the Nexon.

Since its introduction in the sub-compact SUV segment, the Nexon has proved its mettle in the internal combustion space. Tata Motors also offers the all-electric Nexon, which has spearheaded the EV revolution across the country, promoting awareness for environmental protection. The Nexon EV has proven itself after being tested for over 50 million Km and reduced 9860 tonnes of emissions. Both the ICE and EV versions of the Nexon currently dominate the 4-wheeler segment with more than 62% of the market share.
