Vespa has launched a completely update range of scooters in India. In addition to the refreshed Vespa scooter, the company has also launched a special edition of the scooter called Qala. Read its complete details below.

The newly launched Vespa Qala is dedicated to the rich Indian heritage as it represents the retro anomaly of Indian culture. The Qala edition uses Mehendi motifs in a beautiful contrasting shade of pearl white and blue colours. Adding to the charm of this colour combo and graphics are the bronze-coloured alloy wheels and bronze colour highlights on the mirrors and the headlight cowl.
Apart from the design, the Vespa Qala edition is similar to the standard scooter in terms of features and specifications. It is available with the 125cc and 150cc engine options. The price for the 125cc Vespa Qala is Rs 1.92 lakh ex-showroom.
Mind you, Vespa has revised the engines for the year 2025 on its scooter range. The 125cc engine is now more refined and efficient as it is now OBD-2B-compliant It produces 9.3 bhp and 10.1 Nm of peak power and torque; similar to the outgoing model. However, the 150cc engine now makes more power than the previous model as it now generates 11.2 bhp and 11.13 Nm of peak power and torque.
Vespa will begin the deliveries for the new Qala and the other updated range of scooters from February 25 across India.
