Suzuki has introduced new colours on the popular Suzuki Katana motorcycle in the Indian market. The 2025 Suzuki Katana now gets 2 new colours Pear Vigor Blue and Metallic Mystic Silver. The new colours are likely to replace the ones sold in the Japanese markets. However, the brand is not likely to introduce the new colours on the Katana in India. It is also speculated that the new colours on the Katana are likely to be introduced in other markets where the motorcycle is popular.
Apart from the new colour, the motorcycle remains unchanged. The brand has not made any mechanical changes to the new Katana, This also means that the design of the new Katana is likely to remain unchanged. The sporty bikini fairing along with the overall body panels remain unchanged, The motorcycle also features a square LED headlamp with LED DRLs and has a street fighter stance. The motorcycle also incorporates al lot of retro elements into the modern design which makes the Katana quite unique in its segment.
Powering the Suzuki Katana is a 999cc in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 149 Bhp of power and 106 Nm of torque. The 4-pot motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with electronic features such as ride-by-wire, traction control, low rpm assist and more. The motorcycle also comes with a digital dashboard with dual colours for day and night. The motorcycle also gets Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) which is a collection of advanced electronic control systems that improve the safety of the rider. Also, the Katana comes with riding modes which tweak the engine power and throttle response of the motorcycle.
In the Indian market, the Katana was available with a price tag of INR 13.61 lakh ex-showroom, however, due to low demand the motorcycle has been currently discontinued from sales.
