2025 Renault Kiger facelift – what to expect?

Shortly after the sibling car Nissan Magnite facelift model was spotted testing, the images of the upcoming Kiger facelift surfaced online. The upcoming Kiger facelift will embrace a mid-life change to the popular Renault car in India.

As seen in the spy shots, the test car is heavily camouflaged. However, the body panels seem a little reworked on the front and the rear. This means that the design will be refreshed with minor updates including new bumpers, new lights, and new alloys.

Another major area of update that we assume, will be the interiors of the car. We anticipate that the facelift model will get a redesigned dashboard, if not largely different, it will get updates like a bigger infotainment screen, a new digital console, and repositioned AC vents.

Being a mid-life update means that it will be equipped with advanced features. However, we suspect that the features list will remain mostly identical to the current car.

Meanwhile, the engine and specifications of the facelifted model will be similar to the current car. Mind you, the current model is equipped with a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine options. It comes mated to the manual and automatic transmission options, depending on the powertrain.

Our verdict

The Kiger has been a successful product for Renault in India. Considering that its entry-level Kwid and Triber MPV are doing modest sales, it is the Kiger that keeps the fire ignited for Renault. But, Renault is soon going to change the game with its upcoming Duster SUV which is scheduled for 2026 in India.
