Renault has introduced the 2025 new Duster in the international market. For the first time, the Duster is seen with Renault badging instead of Dacia. This also leads speculation that the brand could bring the new SUV to the Indian market. In the past the Renault Duster has been quite the hot-seller in the Indian market. And if Renault plans to bring the new a refreshed Duster to India, the brand will directly compete with the Hyundai Creta.
The 2025 Renault Duster comes with an all-new front and rear as well as new interiors. The Renault Duster comes with a bold Renault lettering on the grille instead of the Rhombus logo. The SUV also comes with sleek DRLs integrated well with the headlamps.
In addition to this, the Renault Duster also comes with a rugged looking bumper with aero ducts and a large airdam. The SUV also features a prominent wheel arch cladding and large dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear also comes with a rugged bumper and a prominent skid plate. The SUV also gets half rhomboid taillamps and an integrated rear spoiler.
On the inside, the 2025 Renault Duster features a floating screen infotainment system oriented towards the driver. The car also comes with a full-digital instruments display and a squarcle steering wheel. The Duster also features smartly placed cubby holes and an upright dashboard.
Powering the Renault Duster in the international market is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. In addition to this, the SUV comes with a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. And the top-of-the-line 1.6-litre four-cylinder E-Tech strong hybrid engine. Renault has not confirmed which engine the brand is likely to introduce, if the Duster arrives in the Indian market.
Upon launch, the Renault Duster will compete with the Hyundai Creta facelift which already has a head start of 51,000 bookings in India. To keep costs in check Renault is likely to produce the Duster in India at the Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai.
