2025 MG ZS SUV spotted in camouflage, interiors revealed in spy shots

MG Motor could be planning to upgrade the MG ZS (ICE) in the international markets. According to sources, a test mule of the next-generation MG ZS has been spotted in Australia. In the Indian market the MG retails the ZS as the Astor in addition to the all-electric version, the ZS EV. Upon launch, the brand is also likely to bring the next-generation ZS to the Indian market where it will succeed the Astor.

Next-Generation MG Astor?

According to the spyshots, the MG ZS appears to come with a completely new design. The front fascia is sharper than before and resembles the MG HS. However, the brand has added plenty of elements that help differentiate the MG ZS from the HS which is currently on sale in the UK. While the overall silhouette of the fascia may look similar to the HS, the headlights as well as the front bumper is different.

In addition to this, the grille also appears to be rounded as compared to the MG HS. The side profile also appears to come with an upswept DLO section as well as wraparound tail lamps which are likely to be completely new and with a new design. The rear bumper as well as the tailgate is also likely to be completely new.

On the inside, the MG ZS is likely to come with a large centrally-mounted touchscreen infotainment system with a landscape orientation. Also, the car is likely to come with a full digital instruments cluster and a squircle steering wheel. The central tunnel also appears to have a chunky gear select lever, cup holders, and a centre armrest.

When will it come to India?

The MG ZS is one of Australia’s most popular small SUVs and is likely to make its debut there, followed by launches in other popular markets later on. It is likely that JSW MG Motor India will bring the car here in 2025 along with the Cloud EV.
