Maruti Suzuki Dzire was recently updated in India with the introduction of the latest generation model. Within a span of three months, Maruti has hiked the prices of the car in India. Check the complete details of the first price hikes below.

As per the latest price hike, the LXi MT, VXi MT, VXi CNG, ZXi CNG, and the ZXi+ AMT variants of the new Dzire are now costlier by up to Rs 5,000. Meanwhile, the popular variants which include the VXi AMT and the ZXi AMT, are now costlier by up to Rs 10,000.
The launch price of the new-gen Dzire back in November 2024 was Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the first price hike has now raised the starting price to Rs 6.84 lakh, while the top variant will not cost Rs 10.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from the price revision, there are no other changes to the car whatsoever.
The new-gen Dzire is based on a revised platform that is sturdy and offers a superb 5-star GNCAP crash test rating. The new Dzire is also equipped with a 1.2-litre Z12E three-cylinder engine which makes 81 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. It is available with the choices of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission options.
In terms of features, it is equipped with LED lights, dual-tone alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, touchscreen infotainment, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, and more. Its primary rivals include the Hyundai Aura and the newly launched Honda Amaze.

The new-gen Dzire offers enhanced comfort and the advanced features that the segment rivals lack. Additionally, it is also a safe-rated car because of its top-notch 5-star crash test rating. While the new price hike is minimal, the overall cost of Dzire has entered into a semi-premium segment.
