Lexus India has introduced the new model of its flagship SUV LX 500d at a starting price of Rs 3 crore. The new SUV model features a refreshed design and hardware. Read all details below,

The new LX 500d was earlier displayed at the Auto Expo 2025 in January in India. Now, the latest model has been launched at Rs 3 crore price tag for the Urban variant. The new LX 500d is available in two variants: Urban and Overtrail.
The new model features a refreshed front fascia with a new bumper and front grille. The LED lights are also reworked on both ends for a cleaner and sharper look. The Urban model gets more sophisticated design elements like body coloured cladding, brushed aluminium alloy wheels, and chrome add-ons.
Meanwhile, the Overtail variant has a unique Overtrail Monolith exterior colour that is matched with a black front grille, black body cladding, black ORVMs and roof rails. The Overtail variant also gets AT tyres and black alloy wheels. It also features Khakhi leather interior upholstery that matches with the all-terrain capability of the SUV.
In terms of features, it is equipped with an 8-inch digital cockpit, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a 7-inch drive dynamics controller screen on the centre console. The rear passengers get individual 11.5-inch screens for infotainment along with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lights, rear AC vents with 4-zone climate control, and more.
Other notable features include a 10-way powered driver’s seat, an 8-way powered front passenger seat with ventilation, Active Noise Cancellation, level-2 ADAS safety features, Multi Terrain Monitor, and more.
Powering the new LX 500d is a refined 3.3-litre twin-turbo, six-cylinder, diesel engine option. This powertrain generates 304 bhp and 700 Nm of peak power and torque, which is matched to a quick 10-speed automatic transmission. While the 4X4 drivetrain is offered as standard, the Overtrial variant gets a rear-locking differential for better capability.
The direct rivals of the new LX 500d are the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the Audi Q8.
