KTM showcased the 390 Enduro R at the India Bike Week last year. The motorcycle gathered a lot of attention due to its compact design and lightweight chassis.
Now, the brand is going to debut it in India during mid-April. As believed, it will be priced underneath the 390 Adventure range because of fewer features and less tech.
However, by any chance, it does not mean that the Enduro R will be less of a motorcycle. Consider it to be a more purposeful bike that has been crafted for trail riders.
It features the typical Enduro fascia with a long-travel 230mm front USD suspension and a 200mm travel monoshock at the rear. Also, it has a ground clearance of 260mm, which is massive to climb it easily over the rocks.
Additionally, it is suspended over the same trellis frame as the 390 Adventure R but the overall weight will be less due to minimal body panels. Meanwhile, the single seat and an upright riding position will keep the riders engaged over the trails.
It will also come fitted with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear knobby tyres with tubeless spoke rims for the ease of riding.
In terms of tech, it is supposed to come fitted with a 4.1-inch TFT console, Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, ABS modes, navigation, music controls, and more.
Powering it will be the new 399cc LC4 engine that makes 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of peak power and torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.

The Enduro R will be a niche product that will target only the trail and off-road lovers. For touring purposes and the feature lovers, it is the Adventure R that still makes more sense. We expect the launch to take place in the coming days.
