KTM unveiled the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure S at India Bike Week 2024 in Goa. We know that the motorcycle will be offering some segment-best features. Recent revelations indicate that there will be one more variant in KTMs 390 line-up, the 390 Adventure R.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R features a design inspired by KTM’s Dakar Rally bikes. The bike boasts a tall windscreen, a sleek fairing, and contrasting side and tail sections. The steel trellis chassis is suspended by a WP USD fork with compression and rebound adjustability, and a monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment.
The bike comes with a 5-inch H50 TFT display, offering improved visibility and a clear user interface. The display supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to access calls, music, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The 390 Adventure R variant features fully adjustable WP Xplor Pro suspension with 230mm travel at both ends. It has a ground clearance of 260mm and a seat height of 885mm, making it highly capable for off-road adventures.
The bike offers three riding modes: Street, Rain, and Off-road. These modes adjust the level of ABS and traction control intervention. The 390 Adventure R also features cornering ABS and Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC).
Powered by a 399 cc LC4c engine, the 390 Adventure produces 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission along with slip and assist clutch. The bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS and single-disc brakes at both ends.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure series is expected to launch in India in January 2025. However, only the Adventure S has been confirmed for India. As for the Adventure R, there is no confirmation that it will come to India but, looking at KTMs product offensive, we feel it will come to India later.
