Kia India is set to welcome a significant update as the 2025 Kia Carens facelift has been spotted testing on Indian roads, hinting at major changes. The Carens, which has been a part of Kia’s lineup since 2022, is gearing up for its first major facelift, and the expectations are high.
The upcoming Carens facelift has been seen with a heavily camouflaged exterior, but that hasn’t stopped keen eyes from spotting the new design cues. The front fascia is expected to feature a new grille and split headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), aligning with Kia’s contemporary design language1. The rear is also set to receive a makeover with redesigned tail lamps and possibly a connected LED light bar, a stylish nod to its siblings, the Seltos and Sonet.
Inside, the Carens is anticipated to maintain its versatile 6 and 7-seater layouts while introducing upgraded materials and dashboard designs. The facelift might include features such as ventilated seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and enhanced connectivity options like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety is also a priority, with the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) expected to elevate the Carens to new levels of security.
