As seen in the spy shots, the facelift model will get a new front and rear design. While the silhouette of the car is more or less identical to the current model, it will feature a completely revised outlook.
The test car, while covered mostly, has a new set of LED lights and a sharp C-shaped DRL that is expected to look identical to the Kia EV5. Additionally, the bonnet lines and the bumper, along with the front grill, will be revamped.
The side profile appears to be largely unchanged, but the alloy wheels are completely new as they get an aluminium and black dual-tone treatment. At the rear, it will get a new set of connected LED lights that seem identical to the upcoming Kia Seltos.
Meanwhile, the cabin of the facelifted model is expected to get mild updates that will include a new dashboard design with a tri-connected screen display and a new steering wheel as well. Moreover, Kia will induce new connected features and better convenience for more passenger comfort.
Powering the updated model will be the current engine lineup. As of now, the Carens is offered in three engine options – 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel, and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. These engine options are available in manual and automatic transmission options.
Kia has not confirmed the launch timeline of the current model in India, but we are expecting it to debut around mid-2025. With the new features and design changes, its price will be higher than the current model.

However, Carens spacious cabin and comfortable driving experience is unbeatable. The updated facelift model will enhance the overall package that the Carens currently offers.
