2025 BYD Seal all updates explained

BYD’s premium sedan, Seal, debuted in India not long ago. However, for 2025, the company has updated the premium EV sedan after listening to customer feedback. The new model irons out the shortcomings of the previous iteration.

As far as the changes are concerned, the first upgrade has happened to its suspension. The top-spec Performance variant is now equipped with the trademark DiSus-C suspension aid. It softens and hardens the suspension by reading the tarmac change and vehicle’s stability.

Additionally, the Premium mid-variant has now received Frequency Selective Dampers (FDS), which were previously available only on the top variant. Moreover, the EV now gets electric sunshades as standard, as opposed to the previous optional accessory.

In addition to the suspension changes, BYD has also addressed the weak AC functioning of the previous model. Numerous complaints were raised by customers, stating that the cabin frequently becomes hot. Hence, the AC unit has been updated with a new, more powerful one.

BYD is yet to announce the prices of the updated model on April 11. However, the official bookings have commenced for the EV from March 11.
