BYD Auto India has introduced the 2025 model of its electric SUV, the Atto 3, in the Indian market. The updated version comes with enhanced features and a revised pricing structure. As part of the brand’s anniversary celebrations, the first 3,000 customers can avail of the 2025 Atto 3 at the 2024 ex-showroom prices. Bookings are now open with a token amount of INR 30,000.
The 2025 BYD Atto 3 is available in three variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Superior. The Dynamic variant, priced at INR 24.99 lakh, features a 49.92 kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 468 km. The Premium and Superior variants, priced at INR 29.85 lakh and INR 33.99 lakh respectively, come equipped with a larger 60.48 kWh battery, offering an extended range of 521 km.
One of the key updates for the 2025 model is the introduction of an all-black interior theme, replacing the previous tri-tone design. The cabin now includes ventilated front seats, enhancing comfort for the driver and passenger. Additionally, the Atto 3 features an upgraded Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which is six times lighter than conventional low-voltage batteries and boasts a lifespan of 15 years.
Mechanically, the Atto 3 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by an electric motor delivering 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. The SUV supports fast charging, allowing it to charge from 0 to 80% in just 50 minutes using a DC fast charger. It also includes advanced safety features such as a 360-degree camera, multiple airbags, and electronic stability control.
The Atto 3’s exterior design remains consistent with its predecessor, featuring LED lighting, a bold front grille, and aerodynamic lines. The SUV is available in multiple color options, including a new shade introduced for the 2025 model year.
