2024 Yamaha Tenere Adventure bike revealed

Yamaha has revealed the 2024 Tenere 700. This middleweight adventure bike now get new updates and additional features in the latest iteration.

What’s new in the 2024 Yamaha Tenere 700?

For starters, the first change to be noticed is the new instrument cluster. There is now a 5-inch colour TFT display and gets dual theme mode as well. The first theme consists of a modern layout while the second one has a retro analogue theme. There is a scroll dial on the right side of the handlebar which can be used to select the feature of the new instrument cluster. Furthermore, there is now Bluetooth connectivity which is accessible via the Japanese bikemaker’s compatible smartphone application. During rides, the rider will get call and SMS notifications on the screen.

Also new are the LED turn indicators. Both the front and rear units get the same treatment now. Interested customers can also configure their bikes with the optional quick shifter. However, this has to be selected at the time of placing the order for the bike.

In terms of new features, there are now 3 ABS modes. In the first mode, there is full ABS. In the second mode, rear wheel ABS switches off while in the third mode, the ABS is completely deactivated.

No changes to the Mechanicals

The mechanical specifications remain unaltered on this motorcycle. This ADV continues with the 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This motor produces 72.4 BHP at 9,000 rpm and 68 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The motor gets a six-speed gearbox.

Availability and Colour Options

Customers can choose from two colour options – these include Blue and Grey shades. The bike is expected to first go on sale in the European markets by September 2023. That said, there is no news yet if the bike would make its way to our shores.

Currently, the 2024 Yamaha Tenere 700 is available in two colours – Blue and Grey and these models will go on sale from September onwards in the European market. Sadly, this bike has no plans to come to India anytime soon.
