TVS Motor Company has unveiled the much-anticipated 2024 model of its flagship sports bike, the Apache RR 310. This latest iteration comes with significant performance upgrades, including the addition of MotoGP-inspired winglets, and is priced starting at INR 2,75,000.
The 2024 Apache RR 310 retains its 312.2 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine but now boasts improved power output. The engine delivers 38 bhp at 9,800 rpm and 29 Nm of peak torque at 7,900 rpm, thanks to an upgraded airbox, a wider throttle body, and a lighter forged piston. These enhancements contribute to better volumetric efficiency and faster revs, making the bike more responsive and powerful.
One of the standout features of the new model is the inclusion of winglets, which generate approximately 3 kg of downforce. This addition significantly improves the motorcycle’s stability and handling at high speeds, making it a more competitive option for racing enthusiasts.
The 2024 Apache RR 310 is available in multiple variants. The base model, priced at INR 2,75,000, comes in the Racing Red color without the quickshifter. For those seeking additional performance features, the quickshifter variant is priced at INR 2,92,000, while the new Bomber Grey option is available at INR 2,97,000. TVS also offers a Built To Order (BTO) version, which includes customizable options such as adjustable suspension and cornering ABS.
While the overall design of the Apache RR 310 remains consistent with its predecessor, the 2024 model features new graphics and a transparent clutch case, adding a sporty touch. The bike continues to sport a trellis frame, USD forks at the front, and a monoshock at the rear, ensuring a balanced and comfortable ride.
The 2024 Apache RR 310 is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter, available on higher-spec variants. It also includes a segment-first Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control, which enhances the bike’s performance by making it half a second quicker to 100 km/h compared to the outgoing model.
The 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 positions itself as a formidable competitor against models like the KTM RC 390, Aprilia RS457, and the BMW G 310 RR.
