Tata Motors has unveiled the production-ready version of its much-anticipated Curvv.EV electric coupe SUV. This groundbreaking vehicle, set to launch on August 7, 2024.

A Bold New Design

The Tata Curvv.EV stands out with its striking coupe-SUV silhouette, a design choice that merges the sporty aesthetics of a coupe with the practicality of an SUV. The vehicle features a bold front end with an LED light bar spanning its width, giving it a futuristic look. The strong shoulder line, flared wheel arches, and sloping roofline that blends into a short tail section further enhance its dynamic appearance.

Advanced Powertrain Options

The Curvv.EV is built on Tata’s Gen 2 architecture, designed to accommodate multiple powertrains. The electric variant is expected to offer a range of 450-500 km on a single charge, making it a practical choice for long-distance travel. Additionally, Tata Motors will also offer the Curvv with petrol and diesel engine options, catering to a broader audience.

Cutting-Edge Features

Inside, the Curvv.EV is expected to feature a host of advanced technologies. While the full interior details are yet to be revealed, it is anticipated to include a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and touch-panel controls. Premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and connected car technology are also likely to be part of the package.

Market Positioning and Competition

The Tata Curvv.EV is positioned to compete with mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, its unique coupe-SUV design sets it apart from its competitors, creating a new sub-segment in the market. The Curvv.EV is expected to be priced around INR 20 lakh, positioning it between the Nexon EV and the upcoming Harrier EV.
